What debuts for Seung-Yul Noh and Danny Willett as the opening round of The Masters was everything and more than I'd expected.
The pair both broke par on their first Augusta starts, 70 and 71 respectively, and Danny made headlines with his 64ft eagle putt on the par five 13th. It won him some Augusta crystal, strangely coincidental given that he was playing with a golfer whose surname is Meth.
There were more coincidences because Danny was also accompanied on his walk through this wonderful, florist's shop of a golf course by Larry Mize, who won the title in the year the Yorkshireman was born.
Our other representatives had to dig deep to stay in touch as Louis Oosthuizen recorded par just ahead of Lee Westwood and Darren Clarke, who shot 73 and 74 respectively.
But anything can happen here and I'm expecting a close run thing at the weekend.
